Papers of Philip Showalter Hench [manuscript] 1900-1974.

The papers consist chiefly of World War II correspondence conveying family news between Hench and his wife, Mary Genevieve Kahler Hench, children Mary Showalter Hench Henty, Susan Kahler Hench Bowis and Philip Kahler Hench, and brother Atcheson Laughlin Hench. The collection also contains clippings, articles and photographs, including several of Hench at the Nobel Prize Ceremonies in 1950.
